The week that it was..

Time does fly by super fast I must say.. I am so busy crawling these days that I have less time to write what I am feeling! The weather was great last weekend so we ventured outside a lot and went to an Easter Day Kids Celebration with my cousins...
With no eggs in sight, I decided to do my favorite thing: standing up and sticking my tounge out!

And Crawwling!

My cousin Olivia found me an egg, and it went straight into my mouth
And we had a picnic too! My first and I could not get enough of the dirt and crawling....I kept asking mommy if we could go to babies r us to buy toys. Eventually, I decided to see if I could make it there on my own

I was so tired at the end of the day that I actually passed out on mommy's shoulder during a neck ride!  They finally noticed my snooze when they saw me slouching to one side, eyes hidden by my wide brimmed hat, and they couldn't believe it......I have been loving neck rides because they give me a great vantage point for checking out the city.
My BIG cousin Alec came over one day and we discussed how life has been...and he taught me a few tricks on how to have fun.
We played and I shared all MY toys and showed him my books.... I like that he knows a lot about books!

Whats in: crawling into the bathroom, standing up against the open refrigerator and checking out the food, sticking out my tongue, neck rides, playing with real fruit on the floor, mommy's performances of my favorite books mostly "Barnyard Dance" and "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom", peekaboo with mommy , sun hat, picnicking

Whats out: "rocking to sleep", three naps, (see daddy's blog update on naps coming soon) , Eating at night,  sitting stationary in excersaucer

Happiness.....

I have been helping mommy and daddy in selecting my favorite foods and making sure that they don't buy me green beans! Of course I like my ride...

This way I am happy,

mommy is happy ..

And daddy is happy too!

The Dreaded "Book Pit"

With my rapidly progressing physical skills (crawling, standing, a bit of cruising),  I have decided I can't waste any time reading a story that I don't already know.  I can read "Ten Little Ladybugs", "Who's in My Garden" or "Little Gorilla" over and over again. But, if daddy tries to read me a new story that I don't already know, then I have found something more fun to do: visiting the "Book Pit!" What is the "Book Pit," you ask???  It's is a small empty area next to mommy and daddy's bed where my books tend to pile up on the floor.  I have decided that I MUST get to this area no matter what the cost!  I can be quite persistent..........

Avocado..whats that?

So we went to get avocado for me to try for the first time.  I was super excited because my cousin Olivia raves about them and says they're yummy..

This was my face when I had first bite of my avocado!  Soon, I had it all over me...

I have been trying to stand on anything and everything these days with a lot of success

Mommy and I cheered for India's victory over Sri Lanka in World Cup! Go India!!

I am a budding Mets fan, but I may have to rethink my options since I heard daddy say "they stink!"

I have managed to rip apart my play mat a few times.. .its fun to chew on it

Big doggy, teddy, monkey blanket, and me we have a party in my crib at night!

I have been reading serious kidney stuff with my daddy these days too!

What's in: My favorite books that I know well! Ten Ladybugs, Ten Tiny Babies, Little Gorilla, Subway Book.  The Book Pit (see future blog entries for details).
What's out: New books (anything that I don't already know), rolling over..I prefer to crawl or stand!!
