One day I am one day old.... Next day I am 8 months old!

So I turned eight months old last week! How many is eight I ask? Judging from my parents' enthusiasm, it must be pretty big, but they get excited about everything I do so its hard to tell sometimes.  Anyway, we had a cake and candles...

The exciting part for me was that mommy stayed home on Friday! We took the subway...and I had my own seat.
and we went to the Children's Museum... Hmm, there is museum just for us? I like the sound of that! It was very interesting....

Anyway, I think I can have lot of fun just in the playground... we discovered another playground in my hood with all these fun toys...

Again, the toys are great, but I don't really need toys to play at home.  I come up with my own games these days.
peekaboo

 come catch me..
 Can you see me?
 Haha..gotcha
May be I can hide behind the door!
 Knock knock!
Close the door or crawl in the hallway?
Ohh, or I can just crawl up and down in the hallway and knock on neighbors' doors.. and play with daddy's shoes. So shiny!

My last week adventures

I learned a few exciting things last week... I have been babbling a lot..bababa!
Such as crawling under the table and playing hide and seek with mommy and daddy! We do that everywhere: under the dining table, near the hallway table, and in the bookstore and library. My parents get a kick out of it when I squeeze myself through tight spaces. Well I can do it, can you?
Oh, standing is still a lot of fun, but If I spot something exciting such as Baby Elmo, I may drop everything and crawl super fast huffing and puffing with excitement (literally) to the object of my affection. Daddy loves it when I do that..so sometimes he tricks me to come to my favorite teddy!
Mommy and I have this new game...it cracks me up when she whispers in my ears..and blows air on my neck! So tickly...

Daddy tried to scare me with this talking frog but there's no way I am afraid of that!
I liked this toy...good for sitting and playing

Even though I would rather crawl everywhere, swings are fun too...especially since it gets my parents really excited.

Here I am doing my favorite new thing... climbing up the steps in Washington Square Park.
This girl I met can walk, but she decides to crawl when i was doing it..such a show off! but I think she may just wanna play with me..
I have been exploring my Union Square Playground..it has so many things to stand against. I want to invite all my cousins to come play with me here one day.
And, I have been enjoying the sliding action now...wooo...wooo, again please!
After all that crawling, climbing and sliding..chasing after older kids, I am bound to get tired I must say. After all, I am only a baby.

I also went to my first BBQ in stroller town in Brooklyn. I was on a look out for other kids, but I didn't see any and the bbq was interesting..everybody wanted to hold me and talk to me but I just wanted to crrrrawl! On our way back home on the subway, I was so exhausted from all this partying..I crashed!!

Niam knows nose? Does he??

Our nanny pointed out to us that Niam sniffs when you ask him where his nose his?? Skeptical as we were, we then confirmed that this may be true!!  He points (hit or a miss to nose) when we ask where daddy's nose is...and here is what he did to teddy!

At this point, the question is whether he is pointing just because he is or does he really know his nose? That is the question..we may never know for sure...if its really about nose.

My playground adventures!

Since the weather is warming up, I have been going a lot to the playgrounds in the neighbourhood! The fun part is that I have a few to choose from.

1) The Mars aka.. Union Square Playground! Its ultramodern and fancy smancy.
With a little help from daddy,  I was able to move this metallic rock!!!
Even though I can't walk yet, the good news is that I can crawl in the playgorund and stand on to things with no fear! Its made of protective materieal..so they say. So why not make daddy chase me..ha!

2) Earth aka tompkin sqaure park playgournd! Its old school and has all these old trees everywhere

3) twinkle twinkle little star...itty bittty in Washington sqaure park...I am waiting patiently for big brand new park to open for few months now! hopefully it will open in my childhood span..
Swings are fun! But I rather crawl  or stand on to things if you ask me!
